Brazilian Mixed Martial Artist Andre Fialho
Portuguese mixed martial artist Andre Fialho competes in the welterweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. A former champion of the UAE Warriors, he has also competed in Bellator, PFL, and the LFA. Read on to learn more about Fialho and his career.
Andre Fialho’s UFC debut
Fialho signed with the UFC in January and made his debut at UFC 270, but lost the bout by unanimous decision. He was the underdog in the fight and showed promise in his first outing, but was defeated by Pereira in a lopsided decision. He later got a redemption fight against Miguel Baeza, winning by TKO in round one.
Fialho is a 27-year-old mixed martial artist from Portugal. He has been competing in MMA for eight years. In that time, he has compiled a record of 14-3. Of his victories, eleven were knockouts. He competed in Bellator in 2016, going 4-1. His one loss came to Chi Njokuani. He has also competed in the PFL, where he won two bouts.

After two knockout wins in three weeks, the Brazilian is a great bet to get a UFC fight in June. Fialho has a history of knockout power and is known for his left hook, which won him a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus. However, he does have issues generating offense without power shots.
The Brazilian has won two of his last three fights, and he’s already put the division on notice. Despite not having a win in less than two months, Fialho has been very consistent since signing with the promotion at the beginning of the year.
